"LBL METAL" Vintage Scissors Lamp Workshop Light SOLD

Offered is one scissors lamp / workplace lamp with a ball bear mounted lamp shade made of Bakelite in brown colouring.

Those scissors lamps were designed as functional workshop lamps and manufactured in series for decades without any significant changes. This model has a silver metal leaf which makes it possible to adjust the lamp to a distance of 40 cm up to 77 cm to the wall and pan it horizontally in an angle of 180 degree. The on-off switch (toggle switch) is conveniently located on the new textile wire.

The ball-bearing lampshade provides a flexible adjustment of the light cone, thus the lamp is perfect for all working places such as drafting tables, work tables, sewing tables, desks or as a vintage design object in modern architecture- and engineering offices or urban loft manufactures in post-industrial style.

Produced in the early 60s by "VEB Leuchtenbau Leipzig", earlier reknown luminaire factory "Kandem". The lamp is generally in good condition but has some scratches at the inner reflector.
