VEB Metallverarbeitung Kahla

“Midgard” articulated lamp (brushed).

The arms are connected to each other by means of two screws, which allows you to pan the light in any position. The clamping bolt may be used for table mounting. The reflector is made of aluminum and offers glare-free working.

The "Midgard" prototype was designed around 1924 by Curt Fischer in Auma (Thuringia), was later used in workshops and studios at Bauhaus Dessau and has finally become a classic industrial lamp.

This type of articulated office lamp was produced by VEB Kahla in the former East-German Republic in Thuringia between 1970 - 1990.
